Public access to the records of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority is governed by the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, or OPRA. To learn more about that law, read the the New Jersey Government Records Council's A Citizens Guide to the Open Public Records Act


Please Note: The New Jersey Turnpike Authority does not retain investigation reports to a fatal crash or additional documents other than the NJTR-1 Report. You may visit the portal and fill out the Records Request for a Serious/Fatal Crash form, or contact the New Jersey State Police Criminal Justice Records Bureau Discovery Unit at (609)882-2000.
