On this page, you will find links to websites, materials, and forms you will need to compete for NJTA construction and maintenance contracts. The links in the green box allow you to search current solicitations, research past solicitations, or review the current Anticipated Construction Contracts for future opportunities.
BidX provides prospective contractors the opportunity to review current construction projects, to buy plans or specifications, to view planholders lists, to review bid results, and to register for electronic bidding.
CapEx is used for inquiries during a construction contract's bid period and for construction management after award. All contractors interested in working with the Authority are encouraged to register in CapEx.
Coinciding with the release of the 2016 Standard Specifications, the NJTA developed a QPL which centralizes all products which may potentially be proposed for use on Authority construction contracts and organizes them according to their Specification Section and Subsection. As a result, product brand names, model numbers, manufacturer and supplier contact information, and other specific product
data – all which would have previously been found directly in the Specifications ‐ was moved to the QPL. The qualification criteria, i.e. material and performance specifications, for all products remain within the Specifications
The QPL assists NJTA in providing a dynamic and up‐to‐date list of products to the contracting and engineering community, and in allowing manufacturers and suppliers to submit their products through a streamlined, paperless approval system.
Note that the QPL is not intended for use with contracts designed under the 2004 Standard Specifications.
