Technology Forum Days

Beginning January 2021, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) will resume their technology educational initiative. The forums will be held virtually until further notice. Each Technology Forum Day will focus on a different Information Technology topic. The goal of the forums is to provide vendors an open platform to showcase new and emerging technologies and their relevant application to NJTA’s mission and goals. NJTA welcomes all qualified* vendors who offer products and/or services in a scheduled** topic area.

In the interest of protecting public health, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority Technology Forum will be held virtually until otherwise noted. All vendors and individuals interested in the virtual Webex meeting can do so by following the instructions listed below.
Who will be in the audience? What happens after a vendor registers for the Technology Forum? What happens after a vendor presents?
The Technology Forum is open to NJTA employees, technical and business users, from all disciplines throughout the organization. In addition, NJTA will extend the invite to local, county, and other state agencies. After registering for the Technology Forum, an NJTA representative will reach out for additional information. Qualified* vendors will be assigned a time slot and will be provided with further instructions. Presenting at the Technology Forum does not imply an award of a contract or warrant additional meetings with stakeholders. The Technology Forum is a learning environment for NJTA, and any invited local, county, and state agencies. I'm a vendor, how do I register to present at a NJTA Technology Forum Day?

1. Vendors must register to present 30 days prior to the event date. Vendors can register for a Technology Forum Day by sending an email to TechForum@njta.com. In the email please provide the following information: company name, lead representative first and last name, lead representative contact information, including your team's member's name, event date, event topic, summary of the topic to present, and preferred time slot (morning or afternoon). Vendors will have a total of 60 minutes to present: 10 minutes for setup and breakdown, 40 minutes for presentation, and 10 minutes for questions and answers. Please note all Forums are held virtually.

2. Lead representative will receive an email from the Authority confirming the date and time slot for the presentation, link to the webex, session and any other pertinent information for the event topic. If you have other team member's presenting with you, please continue to #3.

3. If you have more than one person presenting, please have your team register as an "attendee" following the instructions for "attendee's" below. Vendor representative's do not register as an attendee! Please make sure that all vendor representative's include your team's names so our staff can place you and your team into the correct event session.
